"I left having in mind a certain image of the country. But arrived there, walking in the crowded streets of cities, traveling on overloaded trains and buses, have been seized by a feeling of excess, of confusion. The spiritual country that I hoped i can find, seems to be smothered under a blanket
of noise, dust, heat and continues movement. So, I had to abandon the attempt to explain a reality that did not exist if not in my idealization of the country. The deformed look that can be found in my shots reflects the dominant feeling of confusion and choking that I felt, the perpetual motion which characterizes all day long Indian cities and also my desire to capture traces, visual finds and reality of ghosts.
