The ISA is the seat of study and research activity (made by national and international joint bodies of unification) of the master "engineering for emergency" in collaboration with the University La Sapienza of Rome. The ISA is also the place where are developed the training courses for subscribers to Professional Orders of Architects, Engineers and experts, also in terms of prevention and safety by fire. The building structure has a volume covered with total 110,000 m3 over an area of 23,000 m2 and in particular consists of four main buildings, which are intended to residences for students (88 rooms) and classrooms (15 rooms). The complex of ISA is situated in a strategic position in the city of Rome and could be easy reached by public transport. It also offers, after carrying out educational activities, the possibility to choose between several proposals entertainment in a historical frame and high artistic value. The Institute intends to build for the future an international forum aimed to debate on the development and deepening of the culture of safety.
Officine Fotografiche, cultural association is born in October 2001 headquartered in the street Hamlet of the Merode 17/a situated in the district Garbatella, proper of rimpetto to the complex of the institute Romano of St. Michael. Principal objective of the association is to increase the technical and cultural knowledge of the photographic image making at the same time her accessible to all the social classes.
The structure of OF has a room espositiva where continually authors are proposed both national and international, giving space to those whole new realities that usually labor to intend in the canonical circuits.
