Silence

Silence is a series that tries to express some awareness of time: time passes slowly, time slips away, or the time it stops. There are pictures that there are times, times of the body, age, spaces, and city or that of silence.
Each image takes its subject from everyday life or intimacy. The photographs were taken instinctively, without mise-en-scene.
The images are still and silent. E 'in the interstices, in the shadows or off-camera that their meaning becomes clear.

Biography

Christophe Collas is a Belgian photographer. He was born in 1979, and currently lives and works in Liège (Belgium). Holding a master of Fine Arts and Archeology, he also trained as a photograph at the Fine Arts Academy of Liège.

His pictures have been exposed in several Belgian galleries. He was part of the latest selection of Boutographies 2010 in Montpellier, where he also received the Exchange Prize, allowing him to expose his work at Fotoleggendo.

He is now working on a new series mixing genres as diverse as landscapes, architecture and portrait, always with a striking and personal style.
