Camera Segreta is a television show in fifteen episodes dedicated to Italian photographers.
What's behind the image captured by the click of a camera flash?
What’s behind a great talent?
The purpose of the meetings is to enter in the "secret room" of the interviewed photographers, in the private places away from the public channels in which we are used to meet them, to try to establish close and deep contact, that could intersect with the professional one.
The direction without slipping from the interior sphere to the personal one, does not press but indulges each character slowly and gives way to the person, almost without realizing it.
Camera Segreta in addition to being an exceptional view on contemporary Italian photography, is able to tell a rare and precious backstage , as unusual and fascinating.
Original music is by Alessandro Gandola. The choice of style, musical form, timbre and phrasing of the saxophone are inspired by the work and personality of each photographer protagonist.
