Photographer, artist, gallerist, free teacher and critic of photography, freelance journalist. Dealing with photography since 1985, as author and later as curator of exhibitions and organizer of courses and seminars. In 1991 he founded the Photo Club of Rome, and in 2006 the group of artistic research 06. Since 2001 worked as a teacher with the Department of Cultural Affairs FIAF (Italian Federation Photographic Associations). Since 2006, manages its own exhibition space in the district Nomentano in Rome, dedicated to contemporary art with special regard to photography. As author, is currently represented in Europe by Henrike Höhn Galerie, Berlin. His works have been exhibited and published in Italy and abroad in numerous solo exhibitions and group, and several monographs on photography and contemporary art. His way of photographing is what he defines “instant objectivism”, in line with the documentary trend of Düsseldorf School, but enriched by personal considerations on the instruments use and on the construction of the final.
