My name is GIOVANNI MAURIZIO DE BONIS. I am from about twenty-five years, a movie critic, journalist and cultural photography. The movie (the image in general) is an intellectual passion for me that fills my days and my eyes. In addition to my passion for cinema there is also a deep interest in Jewish culture and Israel (and its artistic movements ). I am constantly dealing with issues related to the Holocaust, in relation to audiovisual language and contemporary art. Here is my current main positions: Secretary of the National Union of Italian movies Critics - SNCCI, director of Cultframe (www.cultframe.com), online magazine of visual arts, cinema, photography and contemporary art, director of CineCriticaWeb (www. sncci.it), website of SNCCI, movies critic of the portal of the Dada Group www.cinema.it. I give my collaboration monthly to the magazine of the Jewish Community of Rome, Shalom, for which I care a column on Israeli cinema. I worked as artistic director for the 2006 ROME KOLNO'A FESTIVAL, an event dedicated to Israeli and Jewish culture movies and cinema on the big screen. I cared for the International Photography Festival of Rome, the exhibition of the photographer Israeli Simcha Shirman and of the Israeli-Brazilian documentary filmmaker/photographer David Perlova.
