FotoLeggendo, the cultural event born in 2005 thanks to Municipio Roma XI, and included in the National Circuit FIAF "Portfolio Italy", now is totally organized by Officine Fotografiche, Cultural Association in Rome. Officine Fotografiche, with the contribution of  Municipio Roma XI, the Istituto Superiore Antincendi (ISA), Postcart and in collaboration with FIAF, is the organizer of the Fourth edition to be held from 3 to 25 October 2008. The formula which made famous the event will be virtually the same of past editions, with some adjustments made to enhance even further the intent of incorporation of research and growth of young photographers, who are given the opportunity to meet with various professional Critics of Art Director, heads of agencies and Photographers. A program of cultural event will be the background of readings of the Portfolio, which in this edition will take place both Saturday 4 and Sunday5, October, and will conclude Sunday 5, October  at 6.30 pm with "FotoLeggendo Award 2008" . In addition to all this a complex exposition of 18 photographic exhibitions, open until 18 October, affirmed authors as Piergiorgio Branzi, Sandro Becchetti, Tano Siracusa, flanked by a long list of other lesser-known authors and emerging as Emiliano Mancuso, winner of talented young FNAC and Giacomo Brunelli, winner of the third edition of Fotoleggendo Award, Best Portfolio FIAF 2007 and winner of the Sony Awards 2008.

Another great exposure is the one curated by Contrasto called Beijing In And Out with images, about 70, of  Tommaso Bonaventura, Marcello Bonfanti, Lorenzo Cicconi Massa, Francesco Coco, Daniele Dainelli, Stefano De Luigi, Luigi Gariglio, Lorenzo Pesce, Riccardo Venturi , Theo Volpatti. The relationship now consolidated with the I. S.A. (Istituto Superiore Antincendi, Via del Commercio, 13) that has characterized all previous editions, allow this year to turn for three days, starting from 'inauguration (October 3, 6.00 pm), the charming architectural complex at Gazometro shadow of Via Ostiense, in a small village of creativity and learning activities, including seminars, workshops, screenings, editorial presentations, entertainment such as theater set under the guidance of teachers of Officine Fotografiche. Substantial space is given the projections, current and disruptive form of presentation of photography. Two rooms inside the I. S.A. will be set up for video of photographic exhibitions, including "Modest" by Alexandra Boulat - "The Last Emperor" by Sergey Maximishim - "My America" by Christopher Morris - "Melting Point" Jeff Jacobson - "Off China" Filippo Romano - "Sea Within" by Andrea Frazzetta - by Grazia Neri. Then, the projection of the collective "transit" a group of young French reporters invited by FotoLeggendo. It will be projected work by Jessica Dimmock of Contrasto to "the ninth floor" and, still, film-interviews with photographers such Cresci, Migliori, Radino, Jodice, produced by Renata Tardani under direction of Marina Spada. It will also host some Photocomunity famous around network, and other as the one of the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia edited by Dario Coletti, and the one of Officine Fotografiche. FotoLeggendo will give also space to editorial productions by presenting some photographic books of celebrities such as Graciela Iturbide, just awarded the Hasselblad Award, for the presentation of his book "El Bano de Frida", and Emiliano Mancuso with "Terre di sud", which add a book on the life of Giacomelli "my entire life" by Simona Guerra. particular attention should be given to the initiative "Images in the company" a series of guided tours to know in detail the works organized for schools, institutions and groups that will make the request, edited by Barbara Gnisci and Marina Rivera.

Once the three days to I. S.A. with the award of the prize FotoLeggendo 2008, the event will continue until the end of October with exhibitions and a series of meetings and initiatives issues to be held at the headquarters of Officine Fotografiche. In particular 4 Workshop, reserved for advanced amateurs and professionals, held by Masters Gianni Giansanti with "multimedia in photographic reportage", Eolo Perfido with "fashion ... between fashion and portrait," Roberto Rocchi with "the image of seduction" and Martin Benes with "digital photo techniques." To underline how Fotoleggendo is a internazional event will be much more close the relationship with the Festival "Les Boutographies" - Photographiques Rencontres de Montpellier, one of the most important and accredited French events. The "twinning" was born from Officine Fotografiche and Grand Image, two groups that have always worked for the spread of photography in their respective territories. Both organizers in time of important events have found as a logical consequence of their commitment the institution Prize Exchange which is implemented in an exchange of photographic exhibitions to be included in their Festival to give way to young authors to look on reality. In this edition of FotoLeggendo 2008 will host two exhibition from France: "Good Morning Armenia" by Nanda Gounzague and "Heimlich" by Korean Jung Rang Park.
